Nova Southeastern University’s Institute for Disaster and Emergency Preparedness is offering
FREE 8-hour HAZWOPER Awareness Training
· Ideal for all workers, especially those who could be “first responders” to a hazardous materials incident
· Learn how to recognize, react, and protect yourself from chemical hazards in the workplace
· Training can take place on-site or at your workplace
· Course satisfies refresher requirements
· Certificate awarded upon completion of course
· Approved by the National Educational Institute of NCBFAA, earn up to 7 CCS/CES/MES credits
· Satisfies OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(i), 49 CFR 172.700(c) and 172.704(a)(5)(b), and EPA 40 CFR (311.1).
